Re‑Applying to the College
Applicants may re-apply for a future admission cycle if either of the following is true:
- They have not completed their applications for the entry semester they designated.
- They have not been admitted to a program.
- They have chosen not to matriculate.
To do so, they must complete a new application and pay an application fee. Students may be required to provide additional documentation in support of their application. Students may also be required to pay for an updated background check and drug screen and to update compliance, health insurance, and pre-enrollment screening requirements.
Re‑Admission to a Program
Students who withdraw or are dismissed from the UAMS College of Health Professions for any reason must re-apply for admission by doing the following:
- Complete an application by the published application deadline
- Provide any required information for admission that is not in the student’s previous admissions file
- Update information as requested by the Admissions Office and/or the program
Students who withdraw or are dismissed from the UAMS College of Health Professions and wish to be considered for re-admission to the same program (if re-admission is permissible under the circumstances in question) must follow the respective program’s application process.
The cumulative GPA is used to determine eligibility for admission and is based on all courses taken prior to applying for admission to a UAMS College of Health Professions program. Students seeking re-admission will be considered “new” applicants to the program, and the cumulative GPA will be calculated on all courses taken to date, including those taken in the UAMS College of Health Professions prior to the re-application.
